The science fiction novelist F. Brett Cox explores UFO phenomena in short stories such as “From the Sky” and “The Sexual Component of Alien Abduction,” which appear in his recent book. End of All Our Research. But as much as he loves UFOs, he is very skeptical when it comes to foreign travel.
“If you are talking about ‘UFOs’ as unknown flying objects,’ when you ask, ‘Are there UFOs?’ Then they are,” Cox says in Section 470 of Geek design in Galaxy Podcast. “There are always five percent cases reported over the years that have not been reported. But if you ask, ‘Are these UFOs coming aliens?’ my answer is ‘almost no.’ ”
Cox has spent decades in acquiring a large library of UFO sightings, such as Lemuria: The Lost Pacific Country. “I am fascinated by the UFO culture,” he says, “and all the weapons associated with it, as well as the history – especially in this country – of UFO sightings, and the people associated with them. That’s why I really like this.”
As a child Cox participated in scientific fiction, and received a letter from Richard Shaver, whose “Shaver Mystery” stories helped spark UFO interest. The letter contained photographs of rocks which Shaver claims to be evidence of a dangerous security called Deros. “Even when I was 15, I thought, ‘This is amazing,’ ‘Cox says.” And the way I correspond with Richard Shaver because he’s the best for my age – I haven’t written. “
Cox has also been using a book on UFO theft, but says the events of January 6 have made the plot notes more complex.
“There is a line between the parts of the UFO and QAnon, as well as the thick darkness, the intense plot, ”he says. I’m not saying I won’t go back to writing work, but I have to think differently when I do. ”

“He asked me to write an article on this theory called Doors, which were articles by [magical] gates, and I had – long ago – written the beginning of a story that was informed by my reading [Roger Zelazny: Modern Masters of Science Fiction], to try something different, and I couldn’t figure out what to do with it. But when I was responsible for writing the gate story, it helped to make it work. … In one place where I cut myself a little bit – maybe calmly – there is an incident in the story where the protagonist is sent to hunt, and it is not possible for a distance to travel, so the authorities send him to do this without a horse, and he grabs, ‘Why can’t I have a horse?’ To be honest, I am writing this article, and I don’t know much about horses, and I think, ‘I don’t have time to research this if I can accomplish this in time. E, he can walk. ‘That’s why it was so helpful to me. ”

“This is a story about an epidemic, and it also talks about a family living far away, and one of them wants to reunite in the new world, and there is a conspiracy behind the issue of China’s role in the virus. Now, in this article, I was also as a mosquito repellent, not an airborne parasite [Covid-19 happened] My thought was, ‘Oh, well, because once in my life I’m a professional reader, this and what am I coming for? Amazing. ‘… I will mention this not as evidence of my power of prediction, for there is no such thing, but I say that this is what happens in science fiction – if you listen, if you have a lot of wisdom going on today, you can achieve it like this. ”

“I teach at Norwich University, a former military college – and the oldest military college in the United States. Most of the students are in the cadets of the school, and they are in military uniforms, and all who are in full-time service, are also required to wear military uniforms, and we have been given military uniforms in the same manner — or in some other similar way — in our studies, so equivalent to being a full professor and a great soldier. And this is within the framework of the Vermont State Militia, which is actually a Norwich organization. … So if New Hampshire comes, then the first defensive team. ”

“Two consecutive days after [short story collection] came out, I had two different people here among my friends in Vermont — one of the experts at Vermont College of Fine, the other is a teammate – say one thing – two different places, two different times – they all said, ‘I’m reading your book, I love it so much, the stories are good, but [Andy’s] the first words, oh my god are wonderful! It was great, I really enjoyed it. ‘That’s why I’m happy to say that Andy’s introduction is probably more important than the stories in the book, which are good. I thanked her for doing this. … Andy not only climbed into prison, but was pushed out of the park, and I gratefully agree. ”
