It looks like Verizon (parent company Engadget) is working on Alexa-powered smart display. However, instead of just saying “Alexa” to turn on the voice assistant, it seems that anyone buying the device would have to say “Hey, Verizon” instead. In Amazon Alexa Social Assistant the app allows companies to create an Alexa brand with unique terms and unique capabilities on the devices.
A wise show came out at the Federal Communications Commission filters who first appeared with Protocol. According to the documents, the Verizon Smart Display has an eight-inch, 1280 × 800 display, 4GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is also a front-facing camera with a physical shutter.
