Uber audio protection is coming to the US

The security officer is able to interpret and listen to the recording after reviewing the report, and then take action if necessary.

On top of that, Uber has upgraded its RideCheck platform, which and it uses GPS and sensors in the driver’s phone to detect possible hazards and surprisingly long distances. The session can detect when the traveler has unexpectedly crossed the road or at the end of the lane.

If RideCheck indicates a potential problem, Uber will ask the rider and the driver if everything is OK with the information. If not, they can connect or report a problem to Uber.
