[ad_1]

Twitter is in Fleets, stories like Instagram that launched last year. Advertising marks the first time that Twitter has tested the type of visual effects that are common on all apps such as Instagram or Snapchat.

Twitter pays for ads as a marketing ploy to share the type of content users may see on Instagram or other platforms. “Advertising on a fleet is a place for creative talent: go behind the scenes, have an account maker, or share a hot one,” the company wrote in a blog post.

Initially, these new ads are available to “small advertisers” and should be visible to a “small group” of US Twitter users. But the company said that if the experiment went well, it could lead to a kind of ad anywhere on Twitter. “We want to understand how this benefits customers not only Fleet ads, but also the future of full files on Twitter,” the company said.

New ads come as Twitter unveils new ways to make money on its platform. Like CNBC , the company resumed testing , although these tests are not yet available. It also works for $ 3 / month registration activity, and , which allows users to sell tickets to the negotiated hearing.
