Twitter will soon be posting some of its new revenue streams, including “Super Follows” and Ticketed Spaces. The company he announced and that it opens up new software programs as they appear to the first group of test takers.
Those are just some of the big changes Twitter is making okopa okopa and they can change the way some of the site users use the platform. Apps on both devices are available in the Twitter app in the new “Money” section (Super Follows will be available on iOS, for the first time). The company says it will approve the testing team before making the products more public.
Super Followed monthly subscriptions similar to Patreon or OnlyFans. Allows manufacturers to make additional resources, as usual, for those who signed up for $ 2.99, $ 4.99 or $ 9.99 per month. While it allows users to “pay for tweets,” Twitter has said it wants people to be able to create more content. For example, a manufacturer may offer subscribers the opportunity to access Q&A sessions only. To apply for Super Follows, users must be 18 or over, based in the United States, have at least 10,000 followers and have sent at least 25 tweets in the last 30 days.
Ticket Location, on the other hand, would be a one-time payment for a single event. This feature allows users to charge for access live audio negotiations. Twitter says the price of Space can range from $ 1 to $ 999 (although it’s hard to imagine what kind of negotiations could get the most expensive). The move also makes Spaces more competitive with the Clubhouse, which has just begun to experiment and pay but you do not have a license. Ticketed Spaces programs will be unlocked for US users with at least 1,000 followers who have booked three places in the last 30 days.
In launching the project, Twitter reveals a lot of where it plans to share revenue with the developers on the platform. The company claims to take 3% off the first $ 50,000 (after Apple and Google Commission on in-app purchases), with the committee shooting up to 20% of the first $ 50,000.
It’s a lot harder than Facebook, which said it doesn’t take money from the manufacturers until 2023, but the economy can still be an attraction for people who have made many followers on the platform. Esther Crawford, chief marketing manager on Twitter, said the company had settled on the $ 50,000 threshold because it showed “you are making a profit on the product and that it will help you make it real. [money]. ”
Super Follows and Ticketing sites are essential in Twitter’s efforts to help developers and other high-end users make money following their platform. The company recently re-launched, and is incorporating paid letters in his ministry.
What is not clear is whether Twitter users will really want to spend money on work that has been free (everywhere else, the company is also trying to “Twitter Blue,” a service required for power users). At the same time, platforms like Patreon and OnlyFans have proven that ‘manufacturers’ are able to create jobs for their most dedicated fans. Now Twitter has to convince its stars to build their works on the platform.
