Studio Ghibli is one of the studio’s most popular animation studios, as well as an interesting, a wonderful world it is often necessary to repeat it from time to time just hearing something. For years we have wondered what it would be like have a theme park adapting to various studio films, and later this year we will get what we want.

Announced earlier in 2017, Japan’s Studio Ghibli theme park will finally be open to the public on November 1. The park will have five states, but a gradual opening, so that the first of its natural disclosure is rounded around our favorite Totoro. According to Varietythe locals have learned that one future area is based on Queen Mononoke, and another division Kiki’s Delivery Service and Howl’s Moving Castle. The two countries are expected to be released sometime in 2023, while the last two undisclosed locations are expected to be released on March 2024.

Although Ghibli Park will have climbs, there will be no large roller coasters as you can find in other parks. The studio has a complete overhaul of their park, and its goal is to be environmentally friendly. Former (and retired) mayor Hayao Miyazaki insisted that no trees be cut down and construction work undertaken around the existing site. The goal is to become an in-depth experience and in tune with his nature-loving movies. Back in 2020, the former President of Ghibli, Toshio Suzuki, laughed at how Miyazaki was a “disruptive boss … He immediately started with the words ‘do this’ and ‘don’t do this’.

For those living in Japan, the park is being built inside Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park, near Nagoya in central Japan. By train, it is about three hours from Tokyo to Nagoya Station, and then perhaps an hour’s drive from the elevator to the appropriate park. Ticket prices have not yet been revealed, but you know when to try and plan your vacation around the park, if you think you are doing well.
