The U.S. is also preparing an invitation to investigate the basics of Covid-19

The Biden government has reiterated its call for a US investigation into the location Covid-19 disease, a report last weekend confirmed the theory that the disease was accidentally released from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.

Andy Slavitt, one of US presidential advisers on coronavirus, on Tuesday said the study was conducted last year by World Health Organization had not yet fully explained how the disease began to spread among the people.

He speaks after reports in the Wall Street Journal reports that three scientists at Wuhan’s lab contracted Covid-19-related disease in November, a month before the first trial.

Slavitt told reporters: “We have to get to the end of this and we want a clear path from China. We need WHO to help us with this. We don’t feel like we have it now. We need to talk about this, no matter what the answer, and it is very important to us.”

Scientists working for the WHO last year found that the virus was “unlikely” to escape the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and could have spread to humans from animals.

Some scientists were quick to refute the report, however, which was supported by China, while Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO chief, admitted that it was not enough. Tedros said WHO scientists had faced difficulties in obtaining “raw” from China, which has always been criticized for false lab production.

The World Health Assembly, which sets the guidelines for WHO, is holding its annual general meeting in Geneva, with members expected to discuss the next phase of the UN’s research.

What the WSJ says, so far, has also looked at false assumptions. The newspaper reported that an unprecedented report in the US that had not been made known that three Wuhan Lab investigators became seriously ill in 2019 until they went to the hospital. On Monday, the White House said it had no “way” to confirm the report.

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, on Tuesday said he still believes the disease can spread from animals to humans. “Most of us think it’s possible that this just happened naturally, as happened with the Sars-Cov-1, when it goes from a zoo to a human.”

He added, however: “But, we do not know the answer to 100%… [and] it is important that we see and investigate. ”

On Monday, Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry, denied the accuracy of the intelligence report and said no staff member at the Wuhan Institute of Virology had contracted the disease before December 2019.

“What is the real goal for the US to continue to develop so-called ‘lab leak theory’? Does it really matter where the virus is researching or is it just trying to distract them? ”He asked.
