The U.S. government says it does not know what caused 143 UFO sightings

The program of Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has published a long-awaited report on UFO sightings for nearly two decades. And for the most part, they leave more questions open than they answer. ODNI analyzed 144 reports of so-called “unidentified incidents” or UAP since 2004.

Of these, 18 incidents may have affected the high-level technology that the US cannot explain. “The other UAP was found to be in the air, moving around in the wind, moving abruptly, or moving fast, with no means of transportation,” the report said. ODNI states that there is no evidence that any of these cases involved any secret intelligence activity developed by Russia and China or a celestial body, nor did it specify such details.

“Of the 144 reports we are facing here, there is no clear indication that there are other non-global sources – but we should go wherever they can,” said one government official. CNN.

Outside of one report where the media officials were able to identify what had happened, there was not enough information for ODNI to do what happened in most of the reports it reviewed. What it said was that there was no need to explain all the events that were highlighted. The agency’s investigators attempted to classify the reports into five categories: departure damage (e.g. wrong balloons), which happens naturally, technology created by the US government, secret technology created by the enemy like China or Russia is the last and most interesting group of “other”. However, ODNI believes that many of those who witnessed it had “material possessions.”

The report concludes with ODNI stating that understanding this will require a coherent and sustainable approach in various government agencies. It also seeks to invest in technologies such as machine learning systems to monitor reports. Officials have given Congress a briefing on what it will take as soon as 90 days, with some changes later.
