The sun’s atmosphere, for the first time, has been photographed

In 2009, use NASA’s Interstellar Boundary Explorer, also known as IBEX, astronomers observed a strange shape as a form of dancing between our solar system and the rest of space.
The discovery of the IBEX Ribbon, invisible to telescopes and the human eye, was one of the first things scientists did to understand much about our natural universe – a foam-like shield made of the sun.
New study published in the Astrophysical Journal outlines the full scope of this shield, and its findings can be used to establish a new era of heliophysics research.
“Most space-sensitive instruments recognize tiny particles,” he says Daniel Reisenfeld, senior scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico and is the lead author of the study. But IBEX is special.
It recognizes solid political atoms, or ENAs – ions that emanate from the first solar system but interact with celestial electrons, and confuse them. These atoms are found everywhere in the atmosphere, and seeing ENA’s long-term fluctuations can be a powerful tool for drawing.
So, what was this amazing ribbon? Scientists have confirmed that what they saw was a giant giant of ENA that lit up the night sky.
Using the IBEX data collected at ENA’s only 11-year-old solar panels, during the transition to solar energy, researchers developed a three-dimensional map of the entire heliosphere, which Reisenfeld claims to protect Earth and other planets from harmful radiation.
“Our world is exposed to natural light, constant running glass,” he says. This light can effectively affect the planes that fly near the trees, often during trips between Europe or Asia and the US.
Scientists theorize that in order to understand the cosmos around us, we must understand our position.
“Most of the physical models currently being developed are based on IBEX’s findings,” he said. Nikolai Pogorelov, professor of space space at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. “They’re not just trying,” he says, adding that “they’ll be used [a] the real purpose. ”
