There are 15 types of plugs in use around the world. Type A and Type B used in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan; Type C are common in Europe, South America, and Asia; Type E and Type F are found all over Europe in places like Germany, Russia, and France; Write G used in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and a few other places; and Write I used in Australia, New Zealand, China, and Argentina. All adapters tend to cover all types.
Some countries often do not have all the adaptions, such as India (Write D), Israel (Write H), and South Africa (Type M or N.). You will need to purchase special adapters for that location. To avoid any surprises when you reach land, check what you want before you go for a walk.
