The NFL adds DraftKings and Fanduel as official bets

The NFL, the last and biggest alliance in the US against sports betting, has changed the page. On Thursday, it announced a many years of work and Ceasars Entertainment, DraftKings and FanDuel who have seen the three companies become their betting partners in the game. This means they will be able to do things like announce their relationship with the NFL and get information directly from its counters. The NFL has not disclosed the deal, but according to ESPN it would be an embarrassing cost of $ 1 billion if it were completed in five years. The NFL has a chance to leave the league in three to four years.

“As the venue continues in the United States, we have been thinking about our strategy and are excited to announce three friends sharing the NFL’s vision and goals,” the alliance said. “Working with Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel, we will give fans new and different ways to connect and participate in their favorite games.”

All told, this is a major change for the NFL, which has fought hard to defend countries like New Jersey by issuing gambling laws, controversies along the way to threaten the credibility of the game. However, the court eventually lost the battle when the Supreme Court ruled in 2018 that a law banning gambling in many sports it was illegal. Since then, more than half of US states have violated gambling laws, and very much looking forward to doing so in the future.
