Last week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the company was working with Spotify on the new music content that readers will feel when using social networking sites. Engadget sources later confirmed that the Spotify player will soon allow you to listen to music or podcasts shared instead of leaving Facebook. Today, Spotify announced The new miniplayer is now available for use in 27 countries.
The so-called Project Boombox startup allows you to listen to music or any podcast program shared with a friend, relative, artist or producer from News Feed. Spotify says the first time you click to listen, you will experience a series of interactive apps and music. If you have already logged in to Spotify, the music or other songs begin. If you are not logged in to account, you will be prompted to do so. The audio will continue to play when you use the Facebook app, with the little player standing at the bottom of the screen above the moving pictures. The controls to stop or lock the player should always be away at all times. The audio slides show albums / albums along with artist notes and title. Instead, the player looks very similar to what you see in the Spotify app.
Spotify says Premium subscribers will use the player while free readers can use the interface. The latter group will also hear ads as they do when using software for promotional programs.
The full list of countries where the new Spotify app is available within Facebook apps includes Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, South Africa, Thailand, Uruguay and the US.
The Spotify-based team is one of several new audience projects for which Facebook is working. The company announced more last week of his invitation to the Clubhouse and audio “rooms”, a new podcasting tool and other items. While all of this is still a long way off, Facebook said its room app should be available sometime this summer.
