More than 100,000 people have marched in France to protest the government’s plan to introduce a COVID-19 vaccine.

Demonstrators have taken to the streets of western Europe to protest the demand for the COVID-19 vaccine, with more than 100,000 people gathering in France alone to protest the so-called government’s anti-vaccination campaign.

In the French capital, Paris, protesters – many of whom protested – dared to freeze the rain on Saturday, carrying placards reading “Truth”, “Freedom” and “No to go vaccinated”.

The protests came as France recruited more than 300,000 people who were infected with COVID-19 in one day on Friday and the country’s lower house on Thursday approved a government decision that would require people to prove they had the coronavirus vaccine before eating, walking. on trains or to attend cultural events.

The government expects the new system to be implemented on January 15, although Senate members may delay the process.

France’s Interior Ministry says 105,200 people participated in protests on Saturday across France, 18,000 of them in the capital Paris, while police say 10 have been arrested and three police officers slightly injured.

Another 24 people were arrested and seven police officers were slightly injured, according to the ministry.

Of the major protests, about 6,000 demonstrations took place in Toulon, with Montpellier police using tear gas to protest the protests.

More than 40,000 people also staged protests in the Austrian capital, Vienna, where the COVID-19 vaccine is due to be enforced from next month.

In Germany, protesters staged a series of demonstrations in several cities on Saturday, the largest of which was in Hamburg, with about 16,000 people involved, according to police.
