Vaughn and Pia Guerra’s Vertigo comic of 2005, a post-apocalyptic series depicted Ben Schnetzer as Yorick, the last man alive on earth with his monkeys to travel to a new world and find various pockets of survivors. Game developer Eliza Clark said at the time that she was doing everything she could to sell a favorite show to other networks or streamers and get a second season (or five). “We know someone will have a chance to have this story,” he said in October.
Unfortunately, the plan was not fulfilled. On Friday afternoon, Clark confirmed on Twitter that despite his best efforts, the show is not moving forward with another season. He wrote: “It has always been very difficult to move a play, and in recent years, it has been very difficult … In his thread, Clark said that the second season was a” kickass, “and would include distortions in the best post articles. -apocalyptic comic. “Astronauts, anyone?”
Y was in development for a looooooong time, from the time it became a film to the various conflicts, rehearsals, and changes of rights. FX only started making the show in 2019, but it took a long time to arrive which is why the network decided to cut the show.
Although the show did not progress, and was hit “very hard” by a strong ban, Clark is still grateful for Yorick’s storytelling, in a nutshell. He wrote: “I had to change my favorite jokes. “I need to have a program on TV … I hope you will still watch the program. So that you can still tell your friends to watch it.”
