Spotify makes the popular podcast ‘Call Her Daddy’ unique
Spotify is closing another popular podcast on its music search service. The company has partnered with Alex Cooper to make its list, Call Him His Father, Spotify is the only event in the past and future since July 21. The show discusses the straightforward aspects of sex, relationships and “girls’ conversations”. According to Wall Street Journal, the songwriter was discussing a $ 20 million free show.
A profitable alliance is a testament to the success of the technical demonstration. Call Him His Father was the fifth most popular podcast on Spotify in 2020 – behind other Spotify shows including The experience of Joe Rogan and Michelle Obama Podcast – as well as the top 15 on other platforms.
Produced and distributed by Barstool Sports, a media company known for its disrespect for sports and pop culture, Call Him His Father started life in 2018 and quickly he grew up from a download of 12,000 to 2 million over a two-month period.
The list has featured a series of guest doors, from lists like Miley Cyrus to thirsty Instagram traps like Harry Jowsey for former porn Mia Khalifa and Lana Rhode. Recent titles are “Backstabbing D * ck,” “K-Holes & Chlamydia” and “Dabble with Emasculating Him.”
Last year, a Public debate and Barstool Sports CEO, Dave Portnoy on a partnership that encouraged Cooper’s colleague Sofia Franklyn to leave the show and start his own podcast, Sofia And F. In addition to hosting the podcast, Spotify is also working with Cooper on just new features.
