Sony WF-1000XM4 review: Normal, fit ears

As Sony works with newer headsets, it has enhanced the WF-1000XM4 noise removal capability. In particular, the company claims that its V1 Integrated Processor blocks noise everywhere – from airplanes and car noise to human voices. Instead, Sony claims that the V1 is less efficient than the QN1e chip in the WF-1000XM3 and WF-SP800N, but uses less power. Combined with two sound-type microphones on each ear that are designed to produce surround sound and 6mm drivers built to eliminate excessive distortion, the M4s eliminates excessive noise.

It looks better than the WF-1000XM3 and will probably get higher scores if the new comprehensive instructions can give me more protection. Ideally they should help promote natural noise in isolation. However, these earphones did a great job of stopping the constant roar like a dishwasher and a clean sound machine. He also did much to comfort the speakers. The M4 also has an Emergency Noise Remover to help reduce unnecessary noise that good winds can cause when it hits the mics.

Good manners

One of my favorite things about Sony headphones is how the company adapts to its changes. There are no overweight or oppressive heavy buses, and this extends over the WF-1000XM4. The soundtrack is good on the scales, middle and high, and gives a bassy thump when songs like CHVRCHES synth-heavy “He Said He Said” are in demand. When you switch to sweet melodies like Sturgill Simpson’s bluegrass “Long White Line,” its ends blend neatly with everything else, giving the melody rather than distraction.

The WF-1000XM4 also sounds great. The whole time of Simpson Cutting the Grass albums, headphones always produce hidden objects such as picking and string strings on musical instruments. There’s also a lot of depth here, as the M4 works hard to fool you into thinking you’re in a room with Sturgill and his team of selectors.

Another major change from the M3 is the increased LDAC support on the M4. LDAC is a test for Sony on something similar to the nonsense of Bluetooth headphones. Since wireless devices do not contribute to losses due to the significant reduction in signal transmission, Sony has developed a standard that converts audio and transmits data with a bitrate rate of 990kbps. The integration of LDAC gives you the opportunity to use the most promising services. The WF-1000XM4 also supports DSEE Extreme upgrades where the M3 works with DSEE HX. Sony says the first one is “very accurate” because of its promotion of oppressed music in real time. The new V1 processor supports the power supply here, and DSEE Extreme makes for a versatile, yet intuitive look.

In 2021, Sony will not release new headphones that are not compatible 360 Real Audio. In fact, the company’s logo is available on the WF-1000XM4 along with guided system to change your preferences in your ears. Obviously, you’ll have to pay extra to create a great promotional app from Tidal or Amazon to unlock the content, but these earphones do a good job with a limited 360RA library. As is often the case, music is a little louder and more present than it used to be “on a regular basis”. It’s not as much an extension as you might expect, but the 360RA process is different. Whether they are good or not is a matter of opinion, but I enjoy them – when they are available.

The benefits of singing

The WF-1000XM4 has what Sony calls the Precise Voice Pickup technology which you need to do well to recognize your voice. This is one of the reasons that Speak-to-Chat listens better than corporate headphones that listen a lot. Accurate Pickup uses integrated microphones and orthopedic sensors for optimal performance. In addition, the M4 can change from the ANC to the surrounding area when you make a phone call, so you don’t hurt the person on the other side because you can’t hear yourself.

It all sounds good on paper, and Sony will save it. Someone at one end (who I usually try my ear with) said I sound better than usual and better than a cell phone. He also noticed that the M4 had shut off the background noise when I was not speaking until he thought the music was down. As I speak, the sound of the TV behind me is visible, but not interrupted. Earbud manufacturers often make great promises when making a phone call, but once, Sony offers the best of both worlds.

Battery life

Sony has completely redesigned its wireless headset with a new design, powerful sound system, good battery life and much more. However, choosing to change the foam instructions leads to complications that can be difficult for some people. The M4 is much more expensive than the pre-designed one, which would not be as great if the fit was not so difficult.

The update lasts with battery life. Sony says you can wait up to eight hours for a hearing and two additional cases in the case. That is, the ANC is working. If you can survive without breaking the noise, the company says you can extend the listening time by four hours on WF-1000XM4 (12 hours per page only). All these figures are more than the WF-1000XM3 which lasts six to eight hours with the ANC standing and making noise in succession. When I was tested as I switched between the ANC and sounded around, I used the words to pause several times and leave the pages inactive at times, I managed to lower the number and spend seven and a half hours. I also had a working DSEE Extreme, which I think also affects battery life.

The WF-1000XM4 supports wireless operation with Qi-enabled devices or with an Xperia phone that shares a battery component. There is also an activity section that gives you an hour to spend five minutes.

Competition

As is the case with headphones, Bose has also developed a Sony earphone competition as well. The company started QuietComfort Earbuds The final fall, giving the ANC a strong, clear voice and good sound. However, the leaves are large and compact, and a small amount of flexible handling and customization prevents them. However, in order to protect the actual noise, I have to give a little bit to Bose. If we are talking about a complete package, Sony is still at the top.

If virtue is your chief concern, Appropriate Momentum for Sennheiser’s 2 that’s the best choice. The music is good, and the company offers a solid mix of elements in addition to the good ANC. No wireless drive and battery life is good, so this is a worth considering if you are looking for sonic perfection. Obviously, there are cheaper ones, but at $ 280, Sony has launched the WF-1000XM4 powerfully in the first phase. The best competition is the cheapest if you want the same performance.

wrap up

Sony has completely redesigned its wireless headset with a new design, powerful sound system, good battery life and much more. However, the choice to switch to foam tips poses problems that can be difficult for some people. The M4 is much more expensive than the pre-designed one, which would not be as great if the fit was not so difficult.

Sony almost did too. The company has been in control of the earphones and wireless reality for the past few years. It has the ability to create integrated combinations of voice effects, noise restrictions, preferences and formats. No competition comes close to what the WF-1000XM4 offers based on what the ear can do for itself with features like Adaptive Sound Control and Speak-to-Chat. This is almost a complete package, as it can make the new ear canal better delivered. Even the best two people in the box never felt comfortable. I was relieved when I took silicone accessories from M3 instead, and most people would not have them. It sounds simple, but if you mess it up, something as important as earplugs can damage some kind of ear.

The program of WF-1000XM4 available in black and silver colors for $ 280.
