Sony to integrate Discord games into the PlayStation

[ad_1]

PlayStation users can have another way to connect. Sony recently announced that it merged with Discord and that it will integrate the function into the PlayStation Network early next year.

“Our goal is to bring Discord and PlayStation events closer together in comfort and mobile phones from the beginning of next year, allowing friends, teams, and communities to chat, have fun, and connect easily when playing together,” said the CEO and President. Jim Ryan.

We do not know here what this combination will look like. This may mean that there will be another type of Discord connection that will give you the opportunity to connect with your friends on PSN via voice or text message, although it is not known if there will be a full-fledged cooking or partial installation program.

In addition, Sony Interactive Entertainment made small investments in Discord as part of the Series H roundabout. The project, which became popular with gamers, has more than 140 million users. It was almost available from Microsoft earlier this year nearly $ 10 billion, but negotiations appear to be over now.
