Sony ‘strengthens’ PlayStation Now as it tries to reach 1 billion people

A corporate conference today they come when others ask if Sony will be able to innovate as before, and the company’s response is that it “will fill the world with emotion (or Kando) through the power of art and ingenuity.”

The company’s current goal, however, is to increase the number of people directly connected to Sony through devices or entertainment from 160 million to 1 billion.
When it comes to desired goods there is no great surprise. Sony is selling any PS5 it can make, and despite the lack of semiconductor shares it expects sales this year to exceed the 14.4 million PS4 sold last year.
One thing to keep in mind is Sony’s cloud computing and subscription features. Seeing the connection is Jade Raymond Haven’s new development studio, the company said it wants to expand its experience on the PlayStation Network, as it is its largest consumer platform. Without further ado, the release says it will do this “to strengthen the PlayStation Now game, and Sony wants to continue investing or collaborating with foreign studios in addition to investing in its home studios to implement its programs.”
