Sony buys a well-known studio for showcasing games on a PC

Sony has just bought another studio, and no it’s not Bluepoint Games. On Thursday, the company announced , A Dutch developer best known for supporting Crystal Dynamics, IO Interactive and Eidos Montreal in delivering their other games to PC. “We can’t wait to get to work and we are very excited to bring our expertise to the IP powerhouse like PlayStation Studios,” Jurjen Katsman, founder and head of development at Nixxes, said in a statement.
The agreement shows that Sony is planning to make an effort to bring more features to Windows. Last year, the company released it and to Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Sony President and CEO Jim Ryan said many of the company’s party games will go to PC in the future. The purchase of Nixxes is also a follow-up to Sony access to Housemarque software developer earlier in the week.
