Samsung’s Tab A8 adds a faster processor, more RAM and storage options
[ad_1]
Over the past few years, Samsung’s Tab A line has become one of the few options for those trying to get an Android tablet budget. Early next year, the company will launch Tab A8 in the US. It’s not an exciting development, but it offers a few more features than its original launch. Samsung says the new model features a 10.5-inch “magnified” display with a resolution of 16:10 and a TFT band of 1,920 x 1,200.
Inside, the Tab A8 has an octa-core processor that the company claims is 10 percent faster than the CPU on the Snapdragon 662 that came with its predecessors. Samsung will also offer a 4GB tablet model, in addition to the 3GB base model. The speed processor should make the device easier, especially if you want a type with more RAM. For photos and videos, the Tab A8 comes with an 8-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel selfie.

When it comes to storage, the Tab A8 comes with a 32GB standard, though you can also upgrade up to 128GB internal storage, first in line. If you need more space, you can add up to 1TB of additional storage via MicroSD slot. Enhancing everything with a 7,040mAh cell. Samsung did not share battery life, but last year we did found Tab A7, with the same battery power, can last up to 11 hours and 30 minutes for video testing. The Tab A8 supports up to 15W fast charging, but only comes with a powerful 7.75W adapter inside the box. It keeps the headphone jack available in last year’s colors and you can expect it to ship with Android 11.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 hits the shelves in the US next month. Samsung will offer the tablet in three colors: Gray, Silver and Pink Gold. The company did not share any price information. In his words, the lead Tab A8 started at $ 230 – though you can often find them for a small sale.
