‘Prodigy’ is set to become the current theme of Star Trek

The following is a few exceptions to section 6 ‘Star Trek: Prodigy. ‘

Star Trek: Find maybe he went on unexpected breathing, but the new year means the return of the stablemate franchise Prodigy. When we finished we left the youth group of USS Protostar, they had just left Murder Planet and successfully escaped the Diviner ship due to the launch of a secret test engine engine. The sixth verse, Kobayashi, takes this thread, and pushes the story…

The title is a dead donor to one of the threads that goes through this section, at least: “Kobayashi” is the name of the ship from the well-known experiments of “Kobayashi Maru” (“Maru” means ship in Japanese). It is an unsuccessful event that cadet cadres at Starfleet Academy go through to test their readiness to command, except this time with the self-proclaimed captain Dal in a high seat through a holodeck experiment.

That plot in itself is a well-known phenomenon, with Dal refusing to admit failure and testing holographic tests repeatedly … over and over again. Aside from the absolute joy as Dal’s frustration grows, it is an excellent cultural lesson, designed to reflect Dal and make him the leader he wants to be.

There are also fans here thanks to cameos from loved ones who came to life thanks to the wonders of CGI and well-chosen movies. Like Janeway, the show makes adult characters less dangerous Rogue One Princess Leia appears, but listening models could use a number of methods to integrate. And why the newcomer show needs more fans, I don’t know, but I don’t. Out of Skywalker bad.

The real progression in the episode takes place in the B-plot, with Gwyn complaining after his father’s delivery and he and Zero try to learn more about the protostar engine at the heart of their ship. Janeway has the files, unless shared and it’s up to Gwyn and Zero to try to open them. And, although the initial revelation from them is a bit surprising (to be reviewed next week), it is the first follow-up series of this session that has provided some very interesting information so far.

We were shown Diviner 17 years ago, we are in good health and we are already looking forward to it USS Protostar. She chooses to produce “children,” hoping to continue her race, even though it is against the law. (Whose rules?

Star Trek: Voyager returned from his visit to the Delta Quadrant in 2378, meaning that the holographic play of Kathryn Janeway (with the captain of Protostar to be who is) initially the Protostar he could have disappeared by 2379 Protostar built and established in a year (which I doubt), Prodigy it could not have been earlier than 2396, placing it permanently during Picard, dated 2399. It is possible that Prodigy and a few years later, however, making it the first Star Trek series to be established in the 25th century. Protostar traveled over time, making things even more complicated.

But considering that time, which is the 25th century, this is not the first time we have seen the future of the Federation or Starfleet: Discover now established in the 32nd century, later. But being so close to the past seems like The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and, of course, Voyager swords Prodigy more on the direct continuity of that period. The inclusion of Janeway as a teaching hologram has already given us a well-known picture Voyager The crew is working after the end of their Delta Quadrant tour, but now the high technology seen in the third episode “Starstruck” suddenly sounds great knowing that it’s been several years … Voyager.

Except Picard, the exhibition shows have been living away from the recent future of TNG-DS9-Voyager time, choosing instead to go back to the 23rd century or jump forward almost a thousand years. It is unbelievable because of the popularity of the shows, but by ceasing to be Paramount + he has left a lot of room for action. Prodigy and Lower Decks to do something fun there, try new colors and still entertain fans. This could be the future we’ve been waiting for to see on Star Trek.
