Pakistan rejects India Minister of Defense defense | Conflict Issues

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry will take a strong stand on India’s threat to wage war on Pakistani soil if it is provoked as ‘irresponsible’.

Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry (MoFA) has reacted strongly to India’s defense minister over the weekend, saying it posed threats of war in Pakistan if it was provoked as “irresponsible, attractive and baseless”, he said.

On Saturday, India’s defense minister Rajnath Singh vowed that his country would work across the border into Pakistan if its western Indian counterpart “causes more trouble”.

“Now we have given them the message that if … Singh said, referring to a ceremony held in northern India at Pithoragarh.

In a statement released on Sunday, the MoFA denied Singh’s allegations and criticized the Indian government for “participating in the alliance.”[ing] lies and fantasy while pointing fingers at neighbors ”.

“His baseless allegations are one-sided, and show India’s hatred of its neighbors,” Pakistan said.

India and Pakistan with nuclear weapons have fought three major wars since gaining independence from Britain in 1947.

Relations have been suspended since a military coup in 2019 in the Kashmir region where airstrikes were raging and both countries have bombed.

The 2019 dispute was shattered after Pakistan shot down an Indian warplane on the Pakistani coast and retaliated by the pilot after two days of severe casualties.

The two countries regularly blame each other for supporting or supporting the armed forces operating in their allies.

Such allegations have been on the rise since 2014 when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the right of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was elected.

“Pakistan is capable of protecting itself from any form of violence. The whole world has witnessed the potential of Pakistan and is determined to prevent the crisis in India in February 2019,” Pakistan said on Sunday.
