Oppo’s Find N curved phone has a clear look

Samsung is three generations of twisted phones put it in a prominent position in the field, so that Huawei and Xiaomi in the end he followed a two-dimensional form. Having the past displayed twisted art a few years ago, it was only a matter of time before Oppo, the international. fourth the largest type of smartphone, can fit the occasion. After a teaser from ancient times, today a Chinese company uncovered Find the N, which has a 5.49-inch external display and reveals it in a 7.1-inch adjustable “Serene Display”.

The uniqueness of this design is that Oppo went for the shape control – 9: 8.4 (1,920 x 1,792), to be precise – on the flexible AMOLED display, which provides excellent visual functionality. It’s like Microsoft Surface Duo 2, except this passes through a single group. Likewise, AMOLED’s external Find N image comes in clear 9:18 (988 x 1,972), in contrast to the 9: 24.5 narrow object on Samsung’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. A shorter body should also make the device more compact. pockets higher than their competitors.

Oppo added that due to its unique water-repellent hinge design, it is able to expand the flexible collar section, thus reducing the spread – “up to 80 percent less compared to other equipment,” confirmed by TÜV. Rheinland. The same machine allows for a seamless design when folded. As for the flexible fabric itself, its 12-layer design allows it to withstand more than 200,000 strands – even temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius or -4 degrees Fahrenheit. Unfortunately, there are no Get N N’s IPs, but Oppo assures us that the device has passed the tests of companies with moisture and splash.

Surprisingly, Find N is operated by Qualcomm a bit older Snapdragon 888, as opposed to what is to come Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or existing Snapdragon 888 Plus. Oppo explained that this was due to the growing development of the project. To be honest, this 5G chipset is still plentiful, including the phone comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, along with ColorOS 12 based on Android 11, which is supposed to run smoothly at that 120Hz. flexible screen (although the outer cover has 60Hz).

Some of the best features of the 275g device include a 50-megapixel f / 1.8 large camera (Sony IMX766 sensor; similar to Get the X 3 Pro), 16-megapixel camera (IMX481) f / 2.2 larger plus 13-megapixel camera (Samsung S5K3M5) f / 2.4 2x rear telephoto, and 32-megapixel camera (IMX615) f / 2.4 punch hole selfie camera on external window it is internal. There is a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging and 15W AirVOOC wireless; you can also use the phone by charging 10W reverse.

Unlike most recent Androids, the activation is done with a powerful finger-pointing angle button, instead of counting the fingers down, which makes sense because it would be desirable to place the sensor on a large adjustable screen.

On the software side, this ColorOS 12 version comes with “FlexForm Mode” which gives you the option to use Get N as a small laptop. This also applies to video calls, note-taking, 4K sketches and much more. Likewise, you can use the outer cover as a selfie, though this is not uncommon in the world of photography.

My favorite thing here is the graphic design: just use two fingers to move between the adjustable curtain, and immediately split the curtain in half. You can also click the three dots in the middle of this divider to create a shortcut version of the modern combo. If needed, you can also use four fingers to pinch a large screen to turn an existing program into a floating window.

Finally, there is a “seamless relay” feature that allows you to move from the main window to a small external screen. Once you press Find N, the outer screen will give you a five-second window to insert and open.

The Find N comes in black, white and purple, and brown is of its highest quality. In China, the new phone is available immediately pre-order before the December 23 launch, it is the starting type (8GB RAM and 256GB storage) asking for 7,699 yuan (approximately $ 1,210), and the final type (12GB RAM and 512GB storage) to 8,999 yuan (approximately $ 1,410). It’s surprisingly cheap – even better than Xiaomi’s Mix Fold.

Sadly, Oppo is not planning to bring its first folder outside of China right now, but our review section just arrived at my door a few hours ago. I’ll be back in the next few days to find out if this device is working properly (and if I can run Google services), then stay tuned to see what we see.
