Five people were killed when a car drove into Christmas in Wisconsin

A sports car crashed into a Christmas party in the Milwaukee area on Sunday, killing at least five people and injuring more than 40 adults and children.

“The incident is still ongoing, and the investigation is ongoing,” Waukesha city officials, Wisconsin, said in a Facebook post, adding that police had arrested an “interesting man”.

At around 4.30pm, the suspect was driving a red SUV in a checkpoint and chased passengers, police chief Dan Thompson said earlier. He added that it was not immediately clear if the incident was related to terrorism.

A video posted on the internet showed the SUV exploding inside the barracks as police appeared to be firing. One video showed the car running on the highway into a marching procession, knocking down several people as spectators sitting in the street shouted.

“Nowadays people in our community are facing dangers and tragedies that should be a public celebration,” said Waukesha mayor Shawn Reilly. “I walked in the parade at the beginning. I saw all the happy children sitting in the air. I saw all the happy parents behind their children. I could still see the smiling faces.”

Local media outlets posted a picture on Twitter of what looked like a red SUV, with its twisted bonnet, parked in the street.

Ana Wisconsin, Milwaukee Hospital, he said was assisting 15 patients in the Waukesha case and that there were no deaths.

“As we made our way back to the center of the building. . . we saw the crossing of the SUV, I just put on a pedestal and just walked very fast in the parade, “Angelito Tenorio, who lives near West Allis, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“Then we heard loud noises, deafening screams and screams of people being hit by the car.”
