Morning After: Audacity

Audacity is a popular word processing program, but with some powerful, though free, open source.

However, recent updates to has led to lawsuits that the modification program is now spyware. In addition to collecting “software analytics data” and “programming our data” – common items – the information will also be used as “law enforcement.”

The plan says it will address “the requirements for law enforcement, lawsuits and requests of officials (if any).” It may share your information with “any other relevant legal entity, administrator, government, court or any other person whom we believe disclosure is necessary.” Yes, that’s a little strange.

This secret change follows Audacity which Muse Group found in April. The changes also include banning children under the age of 13 from using Audacity, which may violate the license for which the program is distributed here.

The data collection seems to be in the making since Audacity’s purchase. As other reports have suggested, Github claims that the program should include anonymous search options, which are run through Google and Yandex, but this was defended by saying that “it could be a random and randomly weak option.” It didn’t sound like a stretch of instruction.

Speaking of Github, some users are inviting the app’s fork, and developing a new app based on the starting number. For owners Audacity, Muse Group, is a difficult start to its new acquisition.

The filter allows seawater to drink in minutes.

Korean scientists say a new way of dissolving salt makes seawater suitable for drinking minutes. The researchers’ distillation program resulted in 99.9% salt resistance for a whole month. If they do business, they say the answer could help solve the growing water crisis that is compounded by climate change. According to the UN, more than 3 billion people worldwide are affected by water shortages.

Although scientists have used membrane distillation in the past, if the membrane was too wet, it could not resist the salt. The method uses 3D membrane and nanotechnology. Keep reading.

In New York, Bumble is opening a bar / restaurant / wine bar. Bumble Brew is expected to open for breakfast on July 24, lunch and dinner from Nolita in the coming weeks. Along with an 80-seat dining room, there will be bars, balcony and private dining areas.
