Microsoft partners will force the technical giant to issue an annual report that will explain how it works sexual offenses within the company. Advertisers voted to vote on an annual report at their most recent meeting despite pressure from the company to vote.

A major exposure to sexual harassment in the company was provided by Arjuna Capital’s financial adviser. Although it recommended a ban on voting on the request, Microsoft will take action to implement it. Company President Brad Smith said Microsoft will bring someone to view their research and share their findings. He also gave a taste of what the annual reports might include: Apparently, the chief executive received 51 complaints from employees during the financial year ending June, and 47 percent of them were confirmed. Last year, she received 142 complaints.
