Mercedes-Benz boasts 620 kilometers thanks to its latest EV concept

Based on the manufacturer’s specifications, the Vision EQXX can use less than 10 kWh of power to travel 62 miles on public roads, producing more than 6 miles per kWh. Converted to gasoline, Mercedes is said to be close to the “gold standard” of one liter of gasoline at 62 miles.
The battery is half its size and 30 percent lighter than it is in EQS Price. However, it has a power of about 100 kWh. In addition, the roof has very thin solar panels that can reach up to 25 km (15.5 miles).
The Vision EQXX is a lightweight car (1,750 kg or 3,858 lbs) that is well-designed. The automaker claims that, with a maximum cd 0.17, EV is more aerodynamic than ball (with a cd of 0.18 to 0.2). In addition, Mercedes claims that 95 percent of battery power is powered by wheels.
Teams from Mercedes research and development centers worked with its Formula 1 and Formula E specialists on the project. He used digital tools to reduce waste and weight by cutting more material – the wheels were made of magnesium and the brake discs were made of aluminum alloy. Vision EQXX also uses recyclable and plant-based equipment.

In terms of interior, the Vision EQXX infotainment system features a single 47.5-inch, mini-LED 8K screen. Monga Hyperscreen in the EQS, it runs around the entire width of the cabin, although this is a single display. The manufacturer of the machine worked with NAVIS Automotive Systems on navigation systems with scripts that include satellite view. The “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant it is also integrated into the infotainment system.
While Mercedes does not bring Vision EQXX to the ground, the visual design has proven to be an important performance. It already incorporates many EV elements and developments in production. Some are used for the next generation of Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture for small and medium-sized cars.
