Maxwell’s defense team has called for the first witness in the US | Court Matters

Former humiliated attorney Jeffrey Epstein is the first witness to testify in the case of Ghislaine Maxwell.

Team security Ghislaine Maxwell – accused of child abuse – called his first witness, former disgruntled financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Cimberly Espinosa, 55, testified in federal court in New York City on Thursday that she had been hired as a legal assistant at Epstein Company in 1996. She said she later changed positions to work as Maxwell’s attorney general from November 1996 to 2002.

“We were together almost every day,” he says.

When questioned by Maxwell’s lawyer Christian Everdell, Espinosa testified that he worked with several other women who were hospitable or senior assistants to Epstein and Maxwell.

Espinosa said Maxwell was a difficult boss but learned a lot from him.

“I had a lot of respect for Ghislaine,” Espinosa said. “I watched him closely.”

From high-level tests began on November 29, the judges heard seer from the four women who mentioned Maxwell he taught them when he was a teenager between 1994 and 2004 due to harassment by Epstein.

Maxwell’s lawyers want to show that their accusers have exaggerated the value of the lawyers’ claims that they want to pay the women in lawsuits against Epstein’s property.

The defense is seeking evidence from lawyers who assisted the women in filing a complaint against the compensation fund run by Epstein’s Estate. Maxwell’s lawyers said the women agreed with the prosecutors because they thought it would benefit them.

The security services should also continue to try to undermine the credibility of the accusers, saying that the memory of the women has been eroded for many years.

He plans to call psychologist Elizabeth Loftus, who studies how human memory can be corrupted over time, as a well-informed witness.

The lawsuit was lasted for two weeks and could last for two days. Both sides changed the list of their witnesses without disclosing the reason, which resulted in the case being reduced in size by the initial six-week trial. Prosecutor rested his case on Friday.
