LG developed the CES 2022 OLED wildfire OLED concept

The LG display section shows two OLED models in CES 2022 – assuming the plague ask for an annual trade show as a recent victim. The first is the “Virtual Ride” bike. It has three bright 55-inch OLED displays that form a single continuous screen on the front and top of the rider. The highest band has a 500R curvature radius. According to LG Display, it is the most twisted way among the major screens to date.

The second concept is “Media Chair.” It is a standalone with a 55-inch OLED TV attached there. It has a curvature of 1,500R, which LG claims is good for use like this. It also incorporates the corporate technology of Cinematic Sound OLED, allowing the display to produce voice without external speakers. Finally, the display can switch between shape and form with the touch of a button located on a chair.

As with many CES concepts, the chances of seeing LG ads either Virtual Ride or Media Chair are slim. This does not mean that the company did not bring its old ideas to market (the OLED R comes to mind), but it is good to see this recent as a reflection of the growing technical portrait of LG has improved in recent years.
