Declan Kelly has resigned as chairman and CEO of Teneo, an international roadmap company, just days after a lawsuit was filed for drunkenness at a fundraising meeting.

The company also said Tuesday that Kelly would be replaced by co-founder and senior Paul Keary “immediately working”.

“We would like to thank Declan for his leadership and dedication over the past decade in building Teneo as the world’s largest consulting firm,” he said.

Kelly had already been removed from the Global Citizen group, a campaign group.

Kelly’s spokesman told the Financial Times last week that the official had “reduced his workload”, was “committed” and was “continuing expertise from health professionals”.
