Jacob Zuma has been jailed for contempt of court

Former South African President Jacob Zuma has been jailed for contempt of court, ending a protest against a law that sells goods in Africa.

Zuma was taken to jail on Wednesday and a few minutes before midnight to arrest him, South African police said.
