Israel bombed the Gaza Strip just hours after US President Joe Biden publicly backed a global call for an end to the war between the Jewish state and Hamas, a Palestinian militant group.
Sixty Israeli warplanes have staged a series of military demonstrations in what the military says are a way out, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military to “continue strikes”.
