Intel’s 11th-gen new CPU allows ultraportables to hit 5GHz

Smaller and lighter computers can cross the 5GHz bar with Intel’s 11th-gen U-series new Intel chip. Announced at Intel’s Computex tonight, the Core i7-1195G7 can reach 5GHz at a time thanks to Intel’s Turbo Boost Max 3.0. And, as part of a slightly refresher phase, the company also announced the i5-1155G7, which offers a few quick changes at the end of the i5. We usually expect the biggest news from Intel at Computex, but what’s happening this year has no influence on Taipei’s technical expertise. (At least there is china, I really missed the Computex night events in 2020.)

Aside from hitting 5GHz, the new processors don’t charge as well. 1195G7 plays four games with eight threads, and features 96 Intel Xe graphics like 1185G7. Basically, it’s a way to give a few updates to PCs coming this fall. The 11th-UU series was was launched last September, so having new weapons could help Intel compete more effectively against AMD 5000 unmodified prints.

Intel has also announced its first phase of 5G M.2, which will allow PC manufacturers to integrate wireless technology into their upcoming laptops. Designed specifically for the Intel 5G Solution 5000, it will appear on laptops from Acer, ASUS, HP and others later this year. Intel says there are more than 30 designs planned for 2022. Given the slow release of 5G in the US and many countries around the world, it is unclear whether consumers will really want 5G PCs to be installed by PC by next year. (Things can be very different from customers, in particular.)

In a nutshell, Intel re-evaluated its 11th-gen NUC (Next Unit of Computing) laptop at the Computex conference. PCMag reports that it will be the first NUC to support the entire video card, making it even bigger NUC 9 Extreme we revisited it last year. The model may only have 8-inch smaller GPUs, but it looks like a good deal for business due to its size. As NUC grows, there is a slight variation with other smaller PC designs.

The NUC 11 Extreme will be powered by an 11th-gen H-series CPU, which is why we can expect to upgrade to a chip-compatible platform, such as the PCI Express 4.0 and Wi-Fi 6E speeds. Since this was just for fun, there are no expensive prices or any availability.
