Many books are available at the same time. Some books, especially new releases or popular titles, have shown a waiting period. Or you may have to wait at least a few weeks or months for a best seller. This is because libraries do not have unlimited digital copies; they just get a little bit of money to go around, and the more popular the book, the more their digital copies become scarce.

So relax and sit on this line. If you apply for a loan, Libby will send you a copy as soon as it is available for loan. The app can also tell you the current waiting time when copies return to the library and the line is shorter.
