The TikTok TV program has now been released on a number of TV outlets in the US and Canada

TikTok used Amazon Fire TV try its program for major shows last year, so it came as no surprise that it launched its debut on the platform earlier this month in the US and Canada. Now, an online social networking site that watches videos is available enlargement availability of the app and streaming it to Google TV, other Android TV devices, LG smartphones and Samsung smartphones.

While the app will still play biting-type videos in their standalone form – provided, because TikTok slides are shot by mobile users – the project was designed to provide a great showcase for the whole family. The features that you see at the top of the video when you go to TikTok on a mobile phone have been redesigned to take advantage of larger and more horizontal TV viewing. As a mobile partner, the TV app gives you access to the For You and Following feeds if you log into your account. You will also find a Discover page to find many movies and producers that you have not already followed.

When TikTok announced the launch of a TV program on Fire TV last year, Global Marketing Director Nick Tran said in a statement:

“People are looking at the community right now and TikTok is connecting users with the content of the people they love and support. We’ve been thinking about what the implanting of TV-like devices means interacting with our users and how we can do it. We see that bringing TV content to another level is the next step. “
