Google likes to release new versions of Chromecast a bit (you can buy 1080p of old ones today), but it can be very aggressive with Google TV model. 9 on 5Google sources says the company is already developing a new Chromecast with Google TV. Records and code sleuthing are said to have revealed the codename “Boreal,” right 9 to 5 understood that the Android TV media hub will be established later in 2022.
The reported loss does not specify the details, though the new adaptive capabilities with larger video support may be necessary.
