Google Fiber users in Kansas City have created an opportunity for collaboration

Many of Google Fiber customer representatives, who work in a store in Kansas City, Missouri, have signed contract cards in the hope of negotiating an agreement with their employers. They are forming an organization under the leadership of the Alphabet Workers Union, a one-year-old Communication Workers of America organization that seeks to represent all employees and contractors of Google.

It may take months or years for the NLRB to reach a decision on the rights of these workers to form a bargaining team.
