Galaxy S21 FE in action: Last year’s show without any jokes

At CES 2022 today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S21 FE (or “Fan Edition” phone. This is really kind of tweaked last year S21 to the company to sell for $ 700 from January 11. It is $ 100 less than the standard S21, and at this year’s price it offers the same 5nm processors, 120Hz refresh rate (on a slightly larger window) and three similar camera systems. The S21 FE has a bigger battery, though, and it comes with Android 12. We’ll have all the reviews soon, but considering our short hands and experimental part, the S21 FE looks like a well-rounded device. .

At first glance, the S21 FE does not look as good as in last year’s history. Although it has a matching bump in the far left corner of its camera module, its housing does not have the same brightness as the original S21. I love this style – this one is so simple. But the S21 FE feels solid and its matte finish helps it resist fingerprints

The S21 FE is also available in a variety of colors than the original: This time, you can choose from lavender, olive, silver or black (which is the color of my model).

At 177 grams (or 6.2 ounces), the S21 FE is slightly heavier than the S21, which is understandable thanks to the new 6.4-inch screen. The display still works on Full HD +, and it looks bright and sharp. But don’t expect S Pen support here if you can be on S21 + and Ultra. Like the S21, the Fan Edition is not compatible with Samsung’s notebook.

Aside from the size, the main difference between the S21 FE and the original model is in their rear cameras. Although both models have a large 12-megapixel camera with an af / 1.8 aperture, the FE’s Ultra-wide lens has a slightly larger aspect ratio of 123 degrees. -megapixel while S21’s is 64 megapixels, though both offer 30x Space Zoom.

In my time working with the S21 FE, I have not put its cameras on hard testing and so far I have not noticed any problems with the image. The pictures came out beautiful and vivid. Surprisingly, the FE front camera is 32 megapixel sharp while the first one is only 10 megapixels. The selfies I have shot so far have been very sharp and the strands of my damaged hair were very clear.

These tweaks are similar to how and S20 FE change to S20. Samsung said it sold 10 million units of S20 FE just a year after the phone was launched in Q4 2020, making it one of the best-selling Galaxy devices last year.

Since this is just a brief overview and not all of our reviews, I can no longer figure out how the S21 FE will store other phones at these prices. But it is already facing strong competition from and Pixel 6, which offers excellent cameras and apps at the same price, despite having polarizing designs.

While the combination of low-cost features could make the S21 FE an exciting phone for many Samsung fans, the company took a hard time launching the device. With next-generation signs expected to approach, Galaxy buyers can wait and see what the company can bring to the launch. Even if you are dead to buy a new Galaxy S smartphone, wait until we test S21 FE in detail before spending your money.
