EA is not just giving Madden NFL players change if they play on a different type of container. Published with revealed FIFA 22, and in the middle is a new “HyperMotion” method that claims to provide animated video games while playing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S or Google Stadia. The technology uses machine learning to create real-time animation, resulting in more “organic” motion. HyperMotion also helps EA take on the role of the incumbent soccer players (aka football), including superstars like Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé.
The game is also back on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Origin and Steam). A FIFA Magazine 22 Legacy Edition coming to Nintendo switchch, though EA did not mention the difference.
Fortunately, there are some major changes regardless of which platform you use. EA also mentioned the “complete” redevelopment of the goal scorer, the opportunity to form a new club in Career Mode, “rethink” Volta Ball and the FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes set representing game play.
FIFA 22 will be released on October 1 on all supported platforms.
As it is Madden, it seems that EA is not prepared to give up the support of past comforters. This is not surprising because the main player is a reduction that reduces the number of PS5 and Xbox Series owners. However, it is clear that the gaming giant wants to offer a strong incentive to play on new machines. Don’t be surprised if FIFA 23 cuts PS4 and Xbox One players.
