Extras are set to increase

Construction of solar panels, wind turbines, and other renewable energy sources will increase over the next five years as countries introduce stricter climate control and emissions standards.

New renewable energy will set another record this year, at 290 gigawatts, according to new report from the International Energy Agency. This is similar to the construction of about 300 nuclear weapons or about 150 Hoover Dams, and it is happening despite the global crisis, rising costs, and covid restrictions.

By the year 2026, global energy from these carbon dioxide sources will rise by more than 60% than last year, the intergovernmental research agency is now planning. That will add 4,800 gigawats, compared to all the world’s oil and nuclear industries today.

In addition, the additions will account for 95% of the energy growth in the electrical sector at that time.

Building new solar and solar power plants does not mean that renewable energy is eliminating fossil fuels – as the demand for energy is growing. And it is yet to be seen that carbon-free sources will become the world’s major energy source and will begin to eliminate coal, gas, and other pollutants.

While renewals now use a lot of new energy being built, the amount of electricity generation can drop dramatically from year to year, depending on the cost of change, weather, and much more. But in the last few years, coal-fired generation has declined and sun, hydro, and winds have risen, according to BloombergNEF. In fact, the three sources he calculated the total size in power generation last year, when electricity from coal, natural gas, and nuclear power plants declined.

The IEA’s 2026 revision estimates are highly enlightened, exceeding 40% more than expected last year. Among other things, the commission cited economic growth, the growth of global warming programs a recent UN climate summit, and development and home policies.
