It may take you a week or two (maybe a month) to get used to the Herman Miller Embody, but it is worth it. His upright posture supported my back and reduced back pain from sitting on a cheap sports chair. The chair is stable at first but at the end is incredibly flexible, and the armrests are strong. It does a good job of removing heat from my body, though not as as well as mesh backrests and chairs. It has one of the most flexible seats around: You can adjust the seat, adjust the height and angle of the pauses, and adjust Change of backfit following the natural path of your spine.
Did I mention it’s beautiful? I would argue that this is one of the most eye-catching chairs, especially made of ribs in the back. Not to mention that it has an amazingly small foot. I know, I know, it’s very destructive. Surprisingly, after about two years in this chair, I feel as good as new, without complaining. Best of all, Herman Miller offers a 12-year warranty that covers every aspect of the chair, and it comes in full coverage.
★ Other Top Seats: Steelcase and Hands ($ 1,159) and relaxed, no matter how you are. Put one leg under each other, cross your legs at the knees, or buy one over the armrest, and you will be well supported. The adjustments are good, too – you have a variety of modes to work with so the whole package can feel in sync with your body and posture. Unfortunately, the upholstered fabric did not fit well with Embody, and does not rest like other furniture, which is cheaper.
