Democrats push Mark Zuckerberg over Meta’s actions before January 6 at the Capitol

A group of 13 Democratic senators led by Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Jack Reed of Rhode Island called Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg to respond to Facebook’s response to the allegations before the January 6th US Capitol raid. Mention of documents is evidence shared with Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen, says he wants to know why the company “before it” abolished the protections it had before the 2020 presidential election.

“This allowed for false, misleading and violent allegations to return to the platform just before election day on January 6,” the group said.

Violence against our democracy,” said Klobuchar, Reed. and 11 other senators.

The group ceases to threaten Meta modifications. It is possible that the Senate could call on Zuckerberg to testify as head of Instagram Adam Moseri was asked to perform earlier this month.
