Christian Eriksen ‘woke up’ after falling in the game

The Euro 2020 tournament was called off on Saturday evening after Danish footballer Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch and paramedics struggled to wake him up in front of shocked players and fans.
The match was suspended at the end of the first half of the match between Denmark and Finland in Copenhagen on Saturday when Eriksen fell to the ground and began to shake.
Several players and England opponent Anthony Taylor immediately called for help. Medical personnel rushed to the floor and could be seen performing CPR for several minutes.
His teammates at Eriksen in Denmark created a secret shield for the many thousands he represented. The video was released shortly after.

The Danish Football Association later said Eriksen was “awake” at the hospital where he “settled”.
Uefa said the game would resume after discussions with the teams. The players returned to the field as fans of both teams chanted Eriksen’s name.
Eriksen, 29, is a star player, who won the Italian Serie A league this season with Inter Milan. Known as a midfielder, he has represented his country 108 times and played for other European clubs, such as Tottenham Hotspur in England and Ajax in the Netherlands.
The match between Denmark and Finland was the third Euro 2020 match, a one-month tournament that kicked off on Friday and featured 24 international teams playing in 11 European cities.
Competition was delayed for a year due to the Covid-19 epidemic, with stricter health and hygiene regulations in place to prevent the spread of gangs.
