China says its airspace has evacuated Starlink satellites twice this year

Astronomers are not the only ones competing with Starlink’s SpaceX satellites. Monga CNET reports, China has written a complaint and the United Nations in the two years to come Tiangong space station and Starlink vehicles. According to Chinese officials, the radio station had to operate illegally on July 1 and October 21 this year to reduce the chances of a collision.

The allegations are in line with astronomical alliance Jonathan McDowell impressions for both days. China also said that SpaceX satellites are not always predictable. At the time of October, Starlink’s technology was “continuously” moving in ways that made it difficult to predict a roundabout route.

We asked SpaceX for feedback. China already wanted to take action. In its complaint, the country asked the UN Secretary-General to remind countries (read: US) that the Outer Space Treaty parties are responsible for events across the globe, even if they own private companies.

China has redefined its activities in the past. The 2007 anti-satellite test produced waste threats at the International Space Station and other flying creatures to this day. Similarly, complaints show that reservation makes these nearby accidents unusual – especially when SpaceX, Amazon and others are launching internet services that rely on large satellite star clusters.
