Twitter is testing TikTok action videos
[ad_1]
Just a few months ago from Twitter but the company is already trying out a new video format. The company is testing a new “Tweet Take” feature that allows users to share videos that interact with Quote Tweet.
With the test, Twitter users can choose to send “Quote Tweet with reaction” instead of retweet or Quote Tweet. These “Tweet Takes” as the company calls them can be a photo or video, and the original tweet will be included as a card at the top.
The concept is similar to Fleets’ temporary Twitter profile, which enabled users to share tweets and comments on all posts. Fleets, of course, did not take any action and the company pulled out the form less than a month after its inception.
Unlike Fleets, videos of this style will appear on a long list like any other tweet, although the videos will look very different from regular retweets. (Although users can record activity on the entire screen, it is not known what type of appearance they appear on the timeline. Contact us for more information.)
But these “vessels” are probably very similar to TikTok’s animated videos, which often contain a comment or graphic of users as a source. Although Twitter has not encouraged this kind of integration in the past, the company has been taking steps to create products for the benefit of manufacturers so it is not surprising to see such an experiment.
Obviously, as Twitter users raised anxiety about if Fleets can be used to fight people to be abused, affiliate videos also sound like a form that can be abused. Quote Tweets are already a major source of bullying and bullying – which Twitter sometimes tried – so it’s not hard to imagine that this “Tweet Takes” can be tricky. It is also unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
