Canon’s EOS R6 and EOS-1D X Mark III receive C-Log 3 support

After confirming the file EOS-R3, Canon is bringing the highest quality videos on three existing machines via firmware. All EOS-R6 and EOS-1D X Mark Third gets the C-Log 3, which offers greater power and gives you the option to choose the highest quality videos.

These changes also refer to the dual cameras, as well as the non-rotating imagery EOS-R5, be able to record videos simultaneously on two memory cards, and give you photo storage. While the EOS-1D X Mark III and EOS R5 are now able to support CFexpress VPG400 cards, which have a minimum speed of 400 MB per minute which makes them ideal for shooting in 8K or taking RAW images.

The R5 is also compatible with two Canon Cine servo zoom lenses, CN-E18-80mm T4.4 L AND KAS S and CN-E70-200mm T4.4 L IS KAS S, with EOS utility software and Camera Connect. You can also shoot 5K cut ProRes RAW when connected to the Atomos Ninja V scanner, as well as, 8K ProRes RAW and 8K AT 30 fps on Ninja V +.
