British people can celebrate “Christmas hope” following reports that people with Omicron coronavirus are less likely to go to the hospital than those with the Delta virus, according to one of the country’s leading health officials.
Jenny Harries, head of the UK Health Security Agency, spoke Friday after UKHSA reported that people with Covid-19 were between 50 and 70 percent less likely to be hospitalized by Omicron than Delta.
