Bose has done the same with its QuietComfort line of noise-canceling earrings – and for good reason. The QC35 and QC35 II set up anti-noise barriers (ANC) when it comes to wireless arguments. The powerful Bose ANC restrains the roundabout above all competition and QuietComfort’s reliable rating means they were fun to use for long trips. However, QC35 II started in 2017 and technology has improved information since then. However, Bose was able to store a lot that made the line very popular by making small changes and QuietComfort 45 ($ 329). As a result, you do not need new features to make your headsets unique.

Making

When it comes to aesthetics, there is nothing new to say here. Bose was clear that the idea was to keep the QuietComfort series on the list. The company removed earplugs to clean up the mess, and closed the open area to make it more comfortable. It also upgraded the Micro-USB port to charge USB-C technology. Everywhere, you can easily mistake QC45 with QC35 or QC35 II headphones.

The QC45 ear cups are rotated and folded for easy maintenance, and the earplugs and straps remain soft and sloping. On the right, the powerful and connecting slider is outside the ear cap while the controls are on the rear edge. These physical buttons give you the ability to play / relax, make phone calls, skip music and adjust volume. At the same location on the left, the former Google Assistant and Alexa button now moves between Quiet mode and Aware mode. When you press this button during play, it turns off the microphone. You can call your assistant again, but now you do so by holding the center button on the right instead.

If you are looking for something that is less like a “dad on a business trip”, but still craving the Bose and the ANC chops, you will want to take a look. Price 700 (more on them a little). That one has a modern design. However, the whole point of the QuietComfort series is to make you feel comfortable for a few hours and close the world. QC45 continues to do this with its lightweight design that carries easy and highly efficient.

Software and interface

Like other Bose headphones and headphones, QuietComfort 45 works with the company’s Music app. These apps do not offer much customization, but they do charge you on board, showing battery life, allowing you to switch ANC colors and switch between Bluetooth connected devices. There’s also a volume slider as well as a starter controller, all you wouldn’t want. What you can change is helpful though. You can choose between four levels of Self Voice, or the amount you can hear in headphones during playback (low, low, medium and high). This helps you not to be loud on Zoom, which is always good. You can also adjust the duration of the QC45 before turning off to save battery.

That’s exactly. Bose does not offer the ability to change the EQ or select option to change the word history. Instead, the QC45 has a volume-enabled Active EQ interface that simply adjusts the ups and downs for better performance across all groups. There is no need to redistribute any controls and accessories such as stop or voice recognition. This means that the Music app is the one you can run when you first install, and do not.

Finally, there is one thing connected to so many weapons that I found frustrating. You can connect QC45 to your phone and computer at the same time. This way when you work, you are converted into Slack and Spotify, but the headphones only change when you make a call. However, once the dialing is complete, the QC45 remains connected to your phone and you have to tap to get your computer back to the operating system. It’s a bit complicated, but when the participants do this alone, it comes out.

Sounds good

You can think of Bose headphones for embellishing their sound, but do not ignore its shape. The company has a good track record, often providing warm, clear lyrics that illuminate much of the song. This continues with QuietComfort 45 where these headphones carry all the colors well, providing clear, solid waves and deep bass as the music demands. The correction here is better than what Sony offers on its high-end brand, don’t expect a low rise.

That being said, there are enough bass for Albums like Run The Jewels’ RTJ4 Price and chvrches’ Demonstration Violence. The difference with Bose is that the lower end is not as deep or detailed as other sets. The bass lines of “Walking in the Snow” and “Asking a Friend” do not run or sway with the same deep character as the competition. With the right adjustment, and because of its versatility, the QC45 is suitable for all colors – from metal to bluegrass and everything in between. It can make sense when you need it and there is enough depth to make things not look flat or unattractive.
