Microsoft is unveiling Windows 11, a highly polished OS

Distractions (but amazingly stable) loss it may not have been the way Microsoft wanted to introduce Windows 11, but that did not stop the company from launching its new OS today. Other than that, the new Windows doesn’t come very often, does it? This is what Windows 11 is like: As we saw in the build, it obviously changes everything we saw in Windows 10. But there is an additional polish that is good to see after six years with the final color. The new OS will be a free version for Windows 10 users and will start releasing “this holiday”.

And yes, the workspace we saw last week is still, front, and center. For many users, I think it would be a change of custom to get rid of the custom that started with Windows 95. But after playing with beta build for a week now, that’s a change I’ve noticed. (You can also push the taskbar back to the left side of the screen if it touches you.) From all that we’ve seen so far, it looks like you can’t choose the characters to appear in a party, then all the images are moving forward.

Personally, I’m curious to see how Windows users feel about the Startup changes. The last time Microsoft tried to change this with the start page in Windows 8, it caused a huge revolt by users. The design of Windows 11 does not really change, but it may still need to be studied.

The new addition is Advanced Groups, groups of apps that you can easily connect to at the bar. This is a wise advance, since few of us only use one program at a time. I was able to view and whip up the Snap and Slack, Evernote and Chrome team to do my regular routines. You can also expect web-based widgets, which bring a quick bite of information, such as your local weather and your calendar, all slowly.

There is also good news for Windows Windows users: Windows 11 can finally juggle software on multiple modes without compromising your movement. When you remove the external scanner from your laptop, all applications from this secondary will be minimized. And on this occasion today, we saw how the OS can remember where you put windows. Hopefully, this means you can get back to work if you start over or change your mindset (which these players do very often).
