Biden is expected to raise all Taiwanese concerns as well as growing concerns about China’s nuclear weapons. China tried a nuclear-capable hypersonic weapon in July and the Pentagon recently announced that China would increase its nuclear arsenals to more than 1,000 weapons by 2030.
